Feeling good about the net worth - despite paying almost $15k in taxes (mainly due to stock gains in 2017), and the recent market volatility - I managed an almost $300k increase in net worth in the 1st half of 2018. This was mainly due to a bonus in Feb, home prices rising rapidly in the two homes, and some continued gains in a few stocks.
